The charming town of Williamstown is known across the country for their local fair. The Williamstown Fair boasts the title of being "Canada's Oldest Annual Fair." The event draws tens of thousands of guests for the 3-day event to participate and watch agricultural competitions, local vendors, and a full-service mechanical midway. Also well known in the village of Williamstown is the Glengarry Celtic Hall of Fame. In addition to their two public schools and widely popular Recreation Centre, which is often the hub of the town on Saturday nights for the CCHL's Jr. B Glengarry Brigade hockey games. If you're more of a historian, the Nor'Westers and Loyalist Museum might be just for you! The museum focuses on local history, including the migrations of the fur traders to the area.
